Feat: (Flame of the Quill)
Through the tutelage of Archivist Tamsin Draal, you safeguard knowledge and wield words like weapons.
Benefit:
-
Gain +1 Intelligence or Charisma (your choice, max 20).
-
You learn one additional language and gain +1 to History and Persuasion.
-
Once per long rest, you may activate Seal of Containment:
-
As an action, you inscribe or speak a word of binding flame. Choose one of the following:
-
Arcane Bind: Target a spell effect within 30 feet. Force the caster to make an Intelligence saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency + Intelligence modifier). On failure, the spell ends.
-
Diplomatic Oath: Target a creature who can hear and understand you. Force a Charisma saving throw (same DC). On failure, they cannot willingly speak falsehoods to you for 1 minute.
-
-
Flavor: The Quill is not merely a scribe — it is a cage for chaos and a tongue for truth. You embody the Guard’s memory and its diplomacy.
