General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, Sorcerer)
You are no longer merely a wielder of chaos—you are its cradle. When emotion fractures your control, the magic responds with its own voice, blooming into something darker, older, and wild.
Chaotic Bloom
Once per long rest, you can enter Chaotic Bloom as a bonus action when one of the following occurs:
-
You fall below 50% of your max HP
-
You fail a Wisdom or Charisma saving throw
-
You experience significant emotional duress (DM-approved narrative trigger)
This state lasts for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious.
✴️ Benefits: Power Comes at a Cost
Chaos Surge Empowered
Once per turn when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, roll a d6:
-
1–2: The spell deals +1d6 force damage
-
3–4: The spell ignores resistance
-
5–6: Double the range/area of the spell or target one additional creature
Darkling Aegis
At the start of each turn, gain temporary HP equal to your Charisma modifier + proficiency bonus.
Star-Eyed Mutation
You gain darkvision 60 ft (or +30 ft if you already have it), can see through magical darkness, and detect active magical auras as if under detect magic.
❌ Drawbacks: The Magic Bites Back
Whispers of Hate
At the end of each turn, roll a DC 13 Charisma save. On a failure, roll a d8 on a custom negative wild magic table (to be created). These surges are chaotic, volatile, and sometimes dangerous.
Fractured Focus
You make Concentration saves at disadvantage, unless the spell is necrotic or deals damage.
-
If the save fails, take 1d6 psychic damage.
Aura of Dread (Optional Flavor)
The first time a creature ends its turn within 5 ft of you each round, it must make a DC 12 Wisdom save or be frightened until the end of its next turn. This represents the haunting presence that your chaos exudes—like something else is watching through your eyes.
Dreadful Moment
Your movement speed is halved as chaotic magic weighs heavily on your body.
Chaotic Eruption
When you cast a spell that deals damage, you may choose to deal maximum damage to one target. If you do, you take the same amount of damage.
✨ Physical Alterations During Chaotic Bloom:
-
Whites of the eyes swirl with nebula-like magic
-
Voice deepens and echoes, layered with another presence
-
Wings shift into a black, indigo, and violet ombré, sparkling with starlight trails
-
Hair turns a dark blood red with blackened tips and streaks
-
Fingertips stain with black magic, nails elongate into sharp stiletto shapes
-
The air warps faintly around him; shadows sometimes form a distorted Ambrose-shaped silhouette, whispering just out of earshot
- His teeth sharpen subtly, hinting at something more feral

Surge Effect |
|---|---|
|
1 |
Backlash of Doubt: Your inner voice turns venomous. You take 1d8 psychic damage, and until the end of your next turn, you have disadvantage on attack rolls as whispers cloud your focus. |
|
2 |
Reality Fracture: The world warps briefly around you. A 15 ft radius centered on you becomes difficult terrain until the start of your next turn, as cobblestones crack, shadows twist, and gravity seems unreliable. |
|
3 |
Feedback Loop: You take force damage equal to the level of the last spell you cast x 2 as the magic violently recoils. Your next spell must be cast at 1 level lower (if possible). |
|
4 |
Arcane Bleed: Chaotic energy leaks out. For 1 minute, any spell you cast also sheds dim, crackling magical light (15 ft) and makes you unable to benefit from invisibility or stealth. |
|
5 |
Mark of the Abyss: Your form flickers with a shadowy version of yourself. Until the end of your next turn, all creatures within 5 ft have advantage on attacks against you as your aura destabilizes and draws aggression. |
|
6 |
Voice of the Other: Your next spell is accompanied by an ominous echo in a foreign tongue. A creature of the DM’s choice that hears it must make a Wisdom save (DC = spell save DC) or become frightened of you until the end of its next turn. |
|
7 |
Emotional Leak: Your suppressed emotions spill out violently. Choose: Fear, Rage, or Sorrow. Everyone within 10 ft must succeed a Charisma saving throw (DC 13) or be overwhelmed by that emotion (disadvantage on next attack/save/skill check, depending on emotion). |
|
8 |
Tether Snap: The magic frays your soul. You lose 1 sorcery point, or if you have none, take 1 level of exhaustion instead. Your aura flares, revealing your location to all creatures within 60 ft for a moment. |
