You were born with unparalleled hand-eye coordination, flawless manual dexterity and perfect eyesight. Throughout your life you have built on these natural talents with extensive training and experience to become a masterful ranged combatant who rivals even the most legendary of Elven archers.
Trick shot: Your attacks with all types of ranged weapons ignore half cover and three-quarters cover.
Pinpoint Accuracy: If your target is not behind total cover or otherwise invisible, your ranged weapon attacks are never made at disadvantage. This includes ranged weapon attacks you make from within melee combat.
Quick hands: You ignore the loading properties of ranged weapons with which you are proficient. As well, any weapons you are proficient in that are one-handed, finesse, light or thrown that lack the heavy property can be drawn as part of the action used to attack with them.
Aimed Shot: When using ranged weapons, if you have extra attacks as part of your attack action, you can spend an extra attack to aim at your target granting you advantage on the attack roll. You also gain this benefit if you use a readied action to attack a target. This attack can also benefit from class features such as a Rogue's Sneak Attack dice.
Called Shot: On its own or as part of an Aimed Shot, you can make a Called Shot. As long as your target has identifiable body parts (arms, legs, ears, eyes, tentacles, exposed gears, etc), you can masterfully place your shots so as to interfere with range of motion (joints), chinks in armor, or other weakpoints. Before you attack, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to your attack roll to gain a +10 bonus to your damage. Attacks made in this fashion are considered magical for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction or immunity. Resistant targets take normal damage, and targets who would normaly be immune are considered resistant. Critical hits made as part of your Called Shot still function in situations where they would otherwise be negated, such as if your target is wearing Adamantine armor. Due to the precise nature of Called Shot, this attack can also benefit from class features such as a Rogue's Sneak Attack dice, even if you do not have advantage on the attack roll.
Targets who are incorporeal, formless (such as a slime), without physical weak points (a metal golem), or without internal organs or machinery (Such as wood, clay or stone golems) are immune to the effects of Called Shot.
Effects of Redirected or Returned shots: The abilities granted by this feat represent your mastery over ranged combat. With this in mind, all effects from these abilities function only against your intended target. Should your target somehow return or redirect your missile attack, all extra damage dice, bonus damage, critical effects or effects on damage reduction or immunity are lost against the new target.
