To gain this Feat, you must be of the Nephilim species.
Your very essence is torn between two cosmic extremes — light and darkness, mercy and wrath. When you call upon your Nephilim blood, fate decides which half answers.

Divine Balance

Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you may invoke your Divided Soul, channeling the power of both Heaven and Hell within you.

When you do so, roll a d20:

  • Even Result – Angelic Aspect (Light Within)

  • Odd Result – Demonic Aspect (Shadow Within)

This transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated.
Your hair and aura change in appearance — glowing golden-white in divine light or darkening with infernal shadow.

  • If you roll a natural 20, you achieve perfect balance: both aspects manifest at once, though their effects are halved.

  • If you roll a natural 1, your inner conflict violently clashes — you take 2d10 force damage, and neither aspect manifests.

Angelic Aspect – Light Within

Your celestial heritage manifests as radiant protection and fortitude.

  • Radiant Pulse: When you activate this aspect, you and up to three creatures of your choice within 15 feet gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus.

  • Blessed Guard: While this aspect lasts, any ally within 5 feet of you gains a +1 bonus to AC. Additionally, any undead or fiend that starts its turn within 5 feet of you takes radiant damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

  • Visual Effect: Your hair turns a brilliant golden-white, and your aura radiates soft, warm light reminiscent of dawn’s first rays.

Demonic Aspect – Shadow Within

Your infernal blood burns with wrath and bloodlust, eager to rend and consume.

  • Crimson Surge:
While this aspect is active, before you make a melee weapon attack, you may choose to take 5 damage as a cost to channel your infernal power.

    • You must declare this choice before making the attack roll.

    • If the attack misses, you still take the 5 damage.

    • If the attack hits, it deals an additional 2d20 necrotic damage.

    • Each time you use this ability, you must describe aloud how you inflict the damage upon yourself — such as cutting your palm, biting your wrist, carving a sigil into your skin, or some other vivid act of self-harm that fuels your power.
(You may choose before each attack whether or not to activate Crimson Surge; the cost must always be paid and described before rolling to hit.)

  • Siphoning Strike:
If you choose not to activate Crimson Surge for the duration, you instead channel your dark power to sustain yourself. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

  • Visual Effect: Your hair deepens into obsidian black or a dark crimson hue, and your aura seeps shadow and heat, like smoke rising from burning coals.
