Once per long rest when you cast a spell that is 2nd level or higher, that targets only one creature, and doesn't have a range of self, you can split the spell into 2 lower level versions of itself and target the same or a second creature in range with the split spell. The split spells accumulative levels must be less than or equal to the original spells level, the spell must be up casted in order for it to be split, and both split spells must be of a level that are possible to cast normally.
