To Fight Fire with Fire, is to burn the world to ashes. Even still, your forefathers have all said the same: "Good men plant trees they will never sit in the shade of. Good men burn the rot, for the sake of the next world"

Let the glory of God shine through your ******* skull, heretic                                                      - Lorenzo Neight in "The Age of Strife"

The beauty of the bullet is it's speed, it's range and it's power, a perfected lance. You may take an action to fire a molten lance at a target within 30ft of you, using a held weapon for it's attack roll. On a hit, the lance burns through the creature or objects defenses and body, leaving a hole. The size and effects of the hole depend on the aspects of the target, detailed below:

Object: A 5x5 wide hole is burned into the object, with the lance traveling it's maximum distance forward to determine the length of the hole. This can make multiple holes in multiple objects, should they all be in the line the lance travels. Flammable objects are ignited.

Creature (Flesh or Blood): The creature makes a dexterity saving throw. Regardless of pass or fail, the creature is punctured cleanly through, assuming the lance has the distance to travel through their entire body, though the location and severity of the attack will vary greatly. This burns through armor, defensive spells and other obstacles, and also cauterizes the wound, causing no bleeding as a result of this gaping wound. A large or smaller creature takes one of the major detriments on a failed save, or a middling on a successful one. A creature greater than larger size takes a middling effect on a fail, or a mild effect on a success. if the creature is a demon, ignore any fire damage negation it may have. Detriments may be rolled randomly, or chosen by the DM.

Creature (Construct, Undead, ect): You burn a 5x5 hole into the creature, potentially damaging it's internal structures, be it arcane or mechanical. You can choose one major detriment, or two middling ones. Each time you use it subsequently on the same target, you may choose one more of the same type of detriment, as the internal systems produce more and more errors.

Creature (Smoke, Spirit, ect): You blow back the creature with force. it travels with the lance to it's maximum range. The creature takes one middling effect with resistance to the damage, and one additional middling damage effect each time it is hit after that.

Major Effects:

- A significant section of the creature is destroyed. Either the arm (cannot be used), leg (movement is reduced by half, might be permanently prone), or head/heart (The creature dies, if it needs that to survive)

- The creature takes 50d8 Fire damage

Middling Effects:

- The creature is marked with Melta weakness. Each time it is hit by a lance at half it's usual range, it takes 50% more damage. (duration of one hour)

- The creature takes 20d8 Fire damage.

Minor Effects:

- The creature takes 5 more damage from fire sources (Duration one round)

- The creature takes 10d8 fire damage
