Valor Under Fire Image
Prerequisite: Minimum 13 Strength Minimum 13 Constitution

Your commitment to saving lives gives you extraordinary, adrenaline-fueled fortitude. When your action or bonus action is used to heal or stabilize one creature within five feet, you may choose to gain the following benefits until the beginning of your next turn:

  • You are Resistant to all Damage
  • You cannot be Charmed or Frightened

In addition, you gain one of the following:

  • You have a +10 bonus on Constitution saving throws, and on Strength ability checks, OR,
  • You have a +10 bonus on Dexterity saving throws, and an extra 10 feet of movement

These benefits only apply when healing or stabilizing a single individual at close range, and are not gained by mass healing, or healing from a distance. Also, the benefits are ended early if you attack or otherwise attempt to damage a creature. Attacking or damaging objects — e.g., to break down a door — does not cause the benefits to end early, nor is the effect ended early by actions that impose unfavorable conditions without dealing damage, e.g., casting Bane on a creature, or making a check to Grapple it.

Use of this ability incurs one point of Exhaustion, which stacks if the feature is used multiple times. All points of Exhaustion incurred take effect immediately upon the end of combat.
