Flow Of The Unbound (Calston Rundranelle) Image

Taught only to disciples of the Way of Stillness and those who have walked the wastelands in solitude. Calston is among the last living students of this technique, blending druidic and monkic stillness into one fluid form of resistance.

Feature 1 Calm Amidst Chaos

You can enter a meditative stance that lets your mind and body flow with the world’s rhythm.

  • As a bonus action, you can spend 1 Wild Shape use (or 1 Ki point) to enter this stance for 1 minute.
  • While in this stance:
    • You gain advantage on Wisdom saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or possessed.
    • When you make a Concentration check to maintain a spell, add your Wisdom modifier to the roll in addition to Constitution.
    • Once per round, when you take damage, you may roll a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw. On success, you may reduce the damage by 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier (representing flowing with the strike rather than resisting it).

Feature 2 Ripple of Resolve

When you end your Calm Amidst Chaos stance, you release a wave of centering energy that steadies allies.

  • All allies of your choice within 15 feet must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw.
    • On success: They gain temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus.
    • On failure: They instead regain advantage on their next Wisdom or Death saving throw within 1 minute.

(This “failure” still offers a minor boon to Calston’s way of honoring the imperfect paths to peace.)

Feature 3 The Freedom of the Wild

You cannot be magically compelled to act against your will while in your Calm Amidst Chaos stance.

If a spell or effect (such as Dominate Person, Geas, or Command) would force you to act, you can make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = spell save DC of the caster) at the start and end of your turn to end the effect.

  • On success, you are freed and may choose to redirect the spell’s backlash: the caster takes 1d6 psychic damage per spell level as your calm shatters their intent.

Flavor / Roleplay Notes

  • When Calston activates this feat, describe the environment subtly bending dust floating midair, grass whispering against unseen wind, or light dimming softly.
  • His aura radiates stillness, symbolizing the balance between Tenzor’s discipline and the Druid’s wild freedom.
  • The feat represents his mastery of peace without submission, a living counterpoint to Tenzor’s own struggle with restraint.
