Blossoms Of The Forgotten (Ellabelle) Image

Ellabelle’s sorrow and hope bleed into her magic. When she casts, the air hums faintly with life, flowers bloom from ash, dust turns to dew, and wilted ground briefly stirs as though remembering spring. Her soul’s yearning to “fix the world” has begun to manifest in small, miraculous ways.

Effects:

🌱 1. Seeds of Renewal

When you use a spell slot to cast a spell that restores hit points or removes a condition (even if the spell normally doesn’t heal), you can infuse it with a spark of renewal.

  • Choose one creature within 30 feet that can see you.
  • That creature regains 1d4 + your Charisma modifier temporary hit points.
  • Once you use this feature, you must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or gain one level of exhaustion due to the magical strain of channeling hope into decay.

You can use this feature several times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

🌸 2. Bloom from Despair

When you succeed on a Wisdom or Charisma saving throw against being frightened, charmed, or paralyzed, you may choose to radiate your defiance.

  • All creatures of your choice within 10 feet must make a DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier Wisdom saving throw.
  • On a failed save, they gain advantage on their next saving throw or saving throw vs. fear/charm before your next turn, as a pulse of emotional strength emanates from you.

Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

🌻 3. Scars that Grow Flowers (Optional Advanced Feature)

At level 10 or higher, whenever you reduce a creature to 0 HP with a spell, you can choose to let the land around them heal instead of burn:

  • The 10-foot area becomes difficult terrain for enemies (covered in blossoming roots or glowing moss).
  • Allies who start their turn in this area gain 1d6 temporary hit points.
  • This effect lasts for 1 minute.

Once used, this feature recharges after a long rest.

Roleplay Tie-In:

Each use of this feat leaves behind small signs of renewal: a single flower blooming from cracked stone, a patch of grass in the wasteland, or a whisper of spring wind. These marks remind Ellabelle of her mission: that beauty can grow even in ruin. But every casting takes a toll on her exhaustion, and roll represents how her body pays the price for forcing life back into a dying world.
