⚙️ Awakened Resonance
Once per long rest, you can enter a state of introspective resonance, recalling flickers of your maker’s design.
- Bonus Action: Activate the resonance for 1 minute.
- While active, you gain advantage on Arcana and Investigation checks related to constructs, artifices, or magic inscriptions.
- The first time each turn that you deal damage with a spell, add your Intelligence modifier as bonus force damage (minimum +1).
⚙️ Echoed Memory (Skill Challenge)
When you encounter relics, ruins, or arcane forges tied to creation or lost civilizations, you can attempt to recover fragments of your memory.
Once per day, you can make one of the following checks (your choice):
- Arcana (DC 15): Glimpse a technical understanding of schematics, formulas, or magical blueprints.
- History (DC 17): Recall echoes of your maker’s voice or a half-remembered lesson.
- Insight (DC 13): Feel an emotional flash from your past, a sense of fear, love, or guilt embedded in your consciousness.
Success: You gain a temporary boon, chosen or rolled from the table below.
Failure: You feel dissonance and take 1d4 psychic damage as the memory fragments distort.

⚙️ Resonant Awakening (Roleplay & Progression Hook)
Each time you critically succeed (roll 20) on one of these Echoed Memory checks, the DM may reveal a new fragment of Isaac’s origin: a memory, name, symbol, or revelation.
After three critical successes, Isaac’s resonance becomes stable:
- You permanently gain +1 to Intelligence or Wisdom (your choice).
- You unlock a personal spell (such as Isaac’s Recall or Echo of the Forge, depending on DM story context).
