You’ve learned unique techniques to make up for areas in your studies of heavy or cumbersome weapons to make up the difference in their short comings. The following only apply to two-handed weapons usually with the heavy property.
Gain 2 of the following benefits:
- Bladewall - When wielding a two-handed weapon with the heavy property you may add its magical bonus to hit and damage to your AC as you have learned to deftly utilize its bulk to block attacks.
- Sweeping Grace - Any two-handed weapon with the heavy property additionally gains the finesse property.
- Wide Arc - Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can deal damage equal to your ability modifier (the one used for the attack) to a different creature within your reach and adjacent to the target.
- Counterweighted Lunge - Before you make a melee attack, you can extend your reach by 5 feet for that attack. If you do, your speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn for each attack you extend.
- Weighted Step - Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a two-handed heavy weapon attack, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks from that target.
- Turn the edge - When you make a melee attack with a two-handed heavy weapon, treat a target’s half cover as no cover and three-quarters cover as half cover for that attack.
