Fate presses down on everyone, whether they sense its weight or not. Most simply accept its pull, drifting along the path laid out for them. But a few refuse to bend. They fight against the current, defying the course set before them. Some gamble everything — coin, time, life, even soul — for a chance to tip the scales. They roll the dice against destiny itself, chasing the fragile hope of a future they can truly call their own, unbound by the chains of fate.
