Bird of Prey

This feat can only be gained through intentional training over time. You have bonded with a bird of prey. The bird gains levels with you, thought is too small to fight on its own. Instead, it assists you in battle and the environment. When your bird is flying overhead, you gain +1 passive perception and +1 on perception checks in your favored terrain. Once per turn, you may use a reaction to have your bird companion do one of the following:

1. The bird swoops down over an enemy's head, imposing disadvantage on its attack roll. This will not work if an ability is not dependent on sight or focus.
2. The bird assists a friendly creature with a ranged attack, providing advantage on the attack roll.

This feature is inactive is you do not have Speak with Beasts activated.
