Dullahan, Stage 1 Image

You can become a Dullahan by being cursed a greater being, good or evil, or by holding such ire for a creature or person that it persists even in death, fulfilling your new undead form.

Boons:
- Your creature type becomes undead, instead of whatever it was previously. You stop aging. You are immune to an effect that would age you and cannot die from old age. You do not require air, food, drink, or sleep.
- You gain a +2 to your constitution, and a +1 to your Strength, each to a maximum of 20.
- Hunters Vow: As a bonus action, you can point to a creature within 60 feet of you, and brand them with your spite. The creature stays branded until it dies or until you die, whichever happens first. You deal an extra die of your weapon damage to the target whenever you hit it with a weapon attack, and you always know where the creature is. You can't use this feature again until you take a long rest after the targeted creature has died.

Flaws:
- If the creature affected by your Hunters Vow is alive more than 24 hours after you use the feature on them, you are afflicted by horrible withering. Your hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the CR of the creature plus your transformation level. The only way to rid yourself of these detriments is to kill the vowed creature.
