Feat Benefits
-
Ability Score Increase Increase your Charisma or Intelligence by 2, to a maximum of 20.
-
Spell Access: Ice Fang You learn the Ice Fang spell. You can cast it once per long rest without a spell slot. If you later gain spellcasting, it counts as known/prepared and uses your spell slots. The spellcasting ability for this spell is the ability you increased with this feat.
-
Tool Proficiency You gain proficiency in one artisan’s tool of your choice (typically Smith’s Tools, Tinker’s Tools, or Cook’s Utensils for Frostforged builds).
-
Rune-Inscription Once per long rest, you can inscribe a temporary frost rune onto a weapon or piece of armor you’ve crafted. Until your next long rest, that item gains one of the following minor magical effects (choose one when inscribing):
-
Armor: +1 bonus to AC
-
Weapon: +1 cold damage on hit
-
Any item: Resistance to cold damage
-
Any item: Emits dim icy-blue light in a 10-foot radius
-
You may only have one rune-inscribed item active at a time. The effect fades at your next long rest unless renewed.
