Prerequisite: Spellcasting or Pact Magic feature.
Boons:

- Your creature type becomes Undead instead of whatever it originally was. Additionally, you cannot be excluded from Turn Undead.
- You stop aging. You are immune to any effect that would age you, and you cannot die from old age. You do not require air, food, drink, or sleep.
- Your Charisma, Wisdom, or Intelligence increases by 2, and your Dexterity or Strength by 1. Your transformation save DC scales off of your which mental stat score you choose (8 + Proficiency Bonus + Chosen Modifier).
- When you cast a spell, you can expend a charge from your soul vessel to cause one of the following effects:
       - One Creature affected by the spell has disadvantage on the saving throw.
       - One Creature damaged by the spell takes an additional d6 of necrotic damage equal to your transformation level.
       - One Creature healed by the spell heals an additional d6 hit points equal to your transformation level.
- Additionally, as a bonus action, you can regain a spell slot of level equal to or less than your proficiency bonus by expending a number of charges equal to the spell slot's level.

Flaws:
Soul Vessel: You have successfully torn your soul from your body and trapped it in a suitable object. The object in question must be no larger than 1 cubic foot in size. In the case of Arcane Lichdom, the object tends to be a gem or shining trinket, but this object can be many other things, should the lich choose so. The soul vessel has the following statistics.

AC: 18
Hit Points: 10 * your Character Level
Speed: 0
Damage Immunities: Poison, Psychic; Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from non-magical sources
Damage Resistances: Cold, Fire, Lightning, Necrotic, Thunder; Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from magical sources
Condition Immunities: All

While a soul is stored in your soul vessel, the soul is considered charged. The soul contained in the vessel must be from a creature no less than 1/3rd of your character level, rounded up. Your soul vessel can only contain one soul at a time.
You can add a soul to your soul vessel 2 times for each transformation stage you have. You regain the expended uses upon completing a long rest.
To store a soul within the soul vessel, while your soul vessel is within 30 feet of you, you must use an action within 1 minute of a creature's death or use a reaction which is triggered upon the death of a creature within 60 feet of you. The creature cannot be restored to life until it's soul is removed from your soul vessel. If you use this feature to capture a soul while your vessel already contains a soul, the previous soul is released and replaced with the new soul. A soul gives your soul vessel an amount of charges equal to 1/3rd the soul's CR.
If your soul vessel is reduced to 0 hit point, you must create a new one. Doing so takes a Long Rest. Until you do, you do not gain any benefits from your Lich transformation, but retain the flaws as if your soul vessel is not charged. Also, until you have a soul vessel again, you have disadvantage on the first ability check, saving throw, or attack roll you make after finishing a short or long rest.
If you are killed while you control a charged soul vessel on the same plane of existence, your soul vessel's charges are consumed, and you are brought back to life as per the Resurrection spell within 5 feet of your soul vessel 1 day later. If you are killed and your soul vessel is not charged, you are resurrected 7 days later instead.
