Prerequisite: Wisdom 13 or higher Ability to cast at least one spell that restores hit points Attunement to the Staff of Tye

When you cast a spell that would normally restore hit points to a living creature, you may instead direct that divine energy toward a single undead creature within 30 feet of you.

The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC.

On a failed save, it takes radiant damage equal to the total healing the spell would have restored.

On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.

The spell slot is expended as normal.

Once you use Tye’s Mercy, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest. If Beacon of Hope is active when you use Tye’s Mercy, the radiant damage equals the maximum possible healing amount the spell could have restored (no dice roll).
Divine bonuses that modify healing—such as the Life Domain’s Disciple of Life feature—apply to the damage as well.
