Prerequisite: Requires reaching the Rank of Pit Champion "Fortunas Chosen"

🌟 Effect: The Ultimate Gamble

Once — and only once — you may invoke Fortuna’s Final Favor as a reaction after any roll, result, or event is revealed, even if its outcome is already determined.

When you do, you declare: â€śLet fate spin once more.” Then, choose one of the following effects:

🎭 1. Rewrite Destiny

You may reverse the outcome of any single roll — success becomes failure, failure becomes success, death becomes survival, or vice versa.

  • This can affect any roll made within sight or hearing — even by a god or another player.
  • You may target yourself, an ally, or an enemy.
  • The universe audibly reacts — dice shimmer in the air, time slows, and Fortuna’s coin spins above your hand before falling on your chosen side.

đź’Ą 2. All or Nothing

You may call for Fortuna’s Gambit, forcing every creature within 60 feet (including you) to roll a single d20.

  • On a 10 or higher, that creature is healed to full HP and regains all expended resources.
  • On a 9 or lower, that creature instantly drops to 0 HP.
  • Critical rolls (1 or 20) cause wild fortune:
    • Nat 1: The creature is erased from fate — only divine wish can restore them.
    • Nat 20: The creature ascends temporarily to godlike power — they gain a +5 to all rolls and attacks for 1 minute, and all their damage is considered divine.

⏳ 3. Fortune’s Undoing

You may rewind time by one full round — every creature, spell, item, and effect returns to its state at the start of the previous round.

  • You retain knowledge of what occurred.
  • All others experience dĂ©jĂ  vu and must make a DC 20 Wisdom save or lose their next reaction.

⚖️ Aftermath — Fortuna’s Price

Once this feat is used, the mark of Fortuna burns away. The user permanently loses 1d4 maximum hit points for every creature whose fate was altered by the act.
If the feat was used selfishly (only to save oneself or for gain), Fortuna’s favor fades — the character’s luck subtly curses them, giving disadvantage on their next death saving throw.

If used selflessly or dramatically (sacrificing advantage for others, or to preserve balance), Fortuna’s laughter echoes through the air — and one wish granting item manifests spontaneously somewhere in the world.
