You're a legend in the Realms simply because you said so. When you succeed at a Charisma (Deception or Performance) check to spin a convincing story about yourself, you can alter the memories of your audience to accept your words as irrefutably true, as if they had been affected by the Modify Memory spell. Once you have modified memories in this way, you cannot do so again until you complete a Long Rest.
