 Due to your legendary inability to sleep you do not require a Long or Short Rest to recover Hit Dice.

Also, if you hum, "Hello Darkness, my old friend" while in  Darkness, you can give yourself the Invisible condition as a Bonus Action. The condition ends on you immediately after you take an action, a Bonus Action, or a Reaction.
