Unfolding Destiny

You thought you were merely another adventurer in the Realms, but your true destiny has begun to unfold as your mentor, patron, or deity reveals your unique role in portentous events. You have the ability to anticipate how your destiny will unfold, enabling you to rise to meet a challenge by using a skill you don't normally possess or enhancing a skill you already have.

Once per long rest, you are able to cast Augury for free (without the need for spell slots or components) and then some time within the following 30 minutes you may choose one skill you lack proficiency in and become proficient in that skill, or gain Expertise in a skill you are already proficient in, for one hour.
