Hallucinations whisper in the corner of your eye - flashes of light of impossible colours, murmured poetry in long-dead tongues and a feeling like you are not alone. These are the marks of Weavespeaking, a trait that hovers between curse and blessing, which allows you to sense arcane truths too faint - or too terrible - to see. The Weave holds memories, and your heightened senses (wherever they come from) allow you to read them, for better or for worse.

Whenever you make an Intelligence D20 Test, you may extend your Weavespeaking senses and attempt to glean magical secrets from your surroundings. You make this Test with advantage, and if both rolls succeed, you learn an additional piece of information, if any is available, about any magic, past or present, related to the area within 30 ft. Emanation. For example, you could learn what spells are currently affecting the area, or the spell save DC of a related caster. You may suggest what knowledge you would like to learn, but the DM ultimately decides.

You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
