Everyone remembers you favorably and as a nice person. If you have had a non combat interaction in a building or an outdoor market or event, everyone in the area remembers who you are, and greet you by name in future interactions. You do not necessarily know their name. When interacting with anyone a second time, you have advantage on persuasion and investigation skill checks, and disadvantage on intimidation.
