The attack roll required for you to land a critical hit is reduced by 1(20 reduced to 19). If you already have a feature that reduces the required critical roll, such as the Champion Fighter’s Improved Critical, this effect stacks.
Hero’s Strike: Once per day, when you land a Critical Hit, you may add additional damage dice to the damage roll equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
