Crown In Thorns Image
Prerequisite: 10th level

“A crown does not settle lightly. Petals bloom — and thorns follow.”
The Courts expect something of you. Your voice has weight. Your promises carry binding echoes. And the thorns begin creeping beneath the skin.
You gain the following Boons and Banes.

Boons:

  • Bloomtongue (Truthspeaker’s Mandate):
Your honest words carry the authority of a minor fey court. You gain proficiency in Persuasion and Insight . You gain advantage on Persuasion and Insight checks. When you speak a sincere truth to a creature within 30 ft that can understand you,
    • They gain 1d6 + your Intelligence modifier temporary hit points.
    • You may force it to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + PB + INT mod). On a fail, the creature is charmed by you until the end of your next turn. On a success, it simply understands your sincerity.

  • Bloomguard’s Aegis (1/LR):

As a bonus action, you may unfurl a faint aura of drifting petals for 1 minute. While active: Allies within 15 ft gain advantage on: Charmed, Frightened, Sleep enchantments, Scrying detection attempts (they have advantage on saves to resist sensing magic). In addition: When an ally within 15 ft saves against being charmed or frightened, they gain temporary HP equal to your proficiency bonus.

  • Thornwarded Form:

The crown’s whispers teach your body how to resist intrusion. You gain:
Advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or put to sleep by magic. Resistance to psychic damage. If a creature attempts to read your mind, charm you, or alter your thoughts, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attempt.

Banes:

  • Iron’s Verdict:

Iron no longer merely burns; it binds. Iron contact deals 1d6 fire + 1d6 psychic damage per turn. While touching iron, you: Lose all damage resistances granted by your relics, Cannot benefit from temporary HP, Have disadvantage on all Concentration checks, and If shackled in iron, you cannot teleport or magically escape via your items. Still cannot drop you below 1 HP — the Courts do not let you die this way.

  • Thorned Tongue:
Lies now tear more deeply. You have disadvantage on all Deception checks. Knowingly lying deals 2d6 psychic damage. Magical silence does not help — the Courts hear the lie in your mind.

  • Hospitality’s Bond:
You are now partially bound by the Laws of Invitation, Gift, and Hospitality. While inside any creature’s home, camp, demiplane, lair, or settlement that has offered you hospitality, you are bound by these restrictions: You cannot initiate violence unless violence is initiated against you or your allies first. You cannot steal anything not freely offered. If you break hospitality, you take 3d6 psychic damage, and the Crown suppresses one of your Tier 2 boons until your next long rest.

“I spoke kindly and the world bowed. I spoke falsely and the thorns dug in.”
She believes herself free. Every fey thinks that—right up until the crown tightens.
Hospitality is a net, woven of courtesy. She knows this. And still… she steps inside.

At 15th level this Feat Evolves into Crown of Rot & Bloom.
