Crown Of Rot & Bloom Image
Prerequisite: 15th level

“Power is no longer a promise. It is a contract.”

The crown’s roots deepen inside you, blooming through thought and bone.
Every truth you speak carries weight.
Every misstep echoes through unseen Courts.
You gain the following Boons and Banes.

Boons:

  • Bloomtongue Ascendant (Greater Truthspeaker’s Mandate):
Your honest voice carries the subtle weight of a minor fey court. You gain proficiency in Persuasion and Insight . You gain advantage on Persuasion and Insight checks.

You automatically sense when a creature knowingly lies to you. When you speak a sincere truth to a creature within 60 ft that can understand you,

    • Bolstering Truth: The creature gains 2d6 + your Intelligence modifier temporary hit points.
    • Gentling Truth: The target has disadvantage on its next attack roll against you.
    • Binding Truth: The target makes a Wisdom save (DC = 8 + PB + INT).
On a fail: It is Charmed until the end of your next turn. It cannot willingly move farther than 30 feet from you during that time.
On a success: It simply recognizes your sincerity.

  • Courtwarden’s Veil (1/LR):

Your protective aura manifests like a minor court circling its queen. As a bonus action, you unfurl a swirling veil of petals and shimmer for 1 minute
Allies within 20 feet gain advantage on saving throws against: Charmed, Frightened, Sleep effects, Illusions, Possession, Scrying detection. When an ally succeeds on one of these saves in your aura, they gain: Temporary HP = PB + INT modifier
When you activate the aura, you may immediately end one condition on yourself or an ally within the aura:
Charmed, Frightened, Grappled (non-iron), Restrained (non-iron).

  • Thornwarded Form:
Your mind becomes half-fey, half-mortal — thorned against intrusion. You gain:
Advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, Illusions, Possession, Memory alteration, & Any effect that would force you to act against your nature. Immunity to magical sleep. Resistance to psychic damage. If a creature attempts to read your mind, charm you, or alter your thoughts, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attempt and it takes 1d6 psychic damage from your mental thorns.
  • Feystep Mercy (1/LR):

Your connection to the Courts allows you to move with flickering grace. Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you teleport up to 30 feet to a space you can see.
    After teleporting, choose one:
Bloom Surge: A creature within 10 feet regains INT modifier + proficiency bonus hit points.
Rot Surge: A creature within 10 feet must make a Constitution save (DC = 8 + PB + INT).
On failure: It takes 2d6 necrotic damage & It has disadvantage on its next saving throw.
Petals or rot-motes unfurl where you reappear.

Banes:

  • Iron’s Verdict:

Iron does not simply burn — it judges. While touching raw iron you take 2d6 fire + 2d6 psychic damage each turn. While touching iron, you: You have disadvantage on attack rolls, Lose all damage resistancesCannot benefit from temporary HP, Have disadvantage on all Concentration checks, and If shackled in iron, you cannot teleport or magically escape via your items. Still cannot drop you below 1 HP — the Courts do not let you die this way.

  • Thorned Tongue:
Lies now tear more deeply. You have disadvantage on all Deception checks. Knowingly lying deals 3d6 psychic damage. Each lie manifests a faint spectral thorn on your skin.
If you lie three times in one day: You have disadvantage on Persuasion checks made to fey or fey-touched creatures until your next long rest. The Courts whisper about your dishonor.

  • Hospitality’s Bond:
You are now partially bound by the Laws of Invitation, Gift, and Hospitality. While inside any creature’s home, camp, demiplane, lair, or settlement that has offered you hospitality, you are bound by these restrictions: You cannot initiate violence unless violence is initiated against you or your allies first. You cannot steal anything not freely offered. If you break hospitality, you take 4d6 psychic damage, and the Crown suppresses two of your Tier 3 boons until your next long rest. If you break hospitality twice in one week,
a fey messenger arrives to reprimand you —
whether you welcome it or not.

  • The Court Watches:

Your failures are no longer private. Whenever you roll a natural 1 on an attack, save, or ability check:
    Roll 1d4:

    1. Petal Shear — Take 1d6 radiant damage

    2. Rot Lash — Take 1d6 necrotic damage

    3. Judgment Sting — Disadvantage on your next attack roll

    4. Court’s Displeasure — Your next Persuasion or Insight check is at disadvantage

“Mercy blooms. Judgment rots. Both now speak through her.”
“She moves like dusk between Courts — favor in one step, doom in the next.
The Crown has settled deeper. Praise her. Fear her.

At 20th level this Feat Evolves into Crown of Thorns & Sovereignty.
