Desperate Caster

Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell

Desperate fighting on the back foot has allowed you to use your situation to your advantage and find strength when your back is against the wall. You gain the following benefits: 

• You can use any non-weapon object that can be held in one hand as a spell-casting focus.
• You may replace the damage type of a spell you cast through a spell-casting focus to one of the following: slashing, piercing or bludgeoning.
• You may gain two levels of exhaustion to regain one spell slot of your lowest level.
