You have been trained in the art of deliberate and perfect persuasive tactics, allowing you to extract information and offload products with relative ease. When you take this feat, you gain the following benefits:
- Your Charisma score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You gain proficiency in Persuasion.
- You gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Investigation, Medicine, Nature, Religion, or Survival
- Persuasive: You can choose to attempt to add a +5 to a Charisma (Persuasion) check of your choice. To gain the additional +5 to the roll, you must give the GM a convincing argument regarding the original topic of persuasion. However, if the argument is lackluster, goes against the initial point, or is overall bad, the GM can choose to impose a -5 to the roll instead of a +5. The modifier depends on the quality of your argument and the GM's opinion on whether if the argument is good enough. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all expended uses on a long rest.
