Whether you grew up on the coastline or by a river/lake, you have learned the careful art of fishing and how to pull up some of the largest and rarest creatures the waters have.
You gain proficiency in using Fishing Tackle. Using Bait gives you advantage on your roll to determine what you catch. When spending one hour fishing in either a river or a lake, please roll on the Freshwater Fishing Table. When spending one hour fishing along the coastline or in the ocean, please roll on the Saltwater Fishing Table. If you are using Fishing Tackle, a Spear, a Trident, or a Bow and Arrow to catch a fish, roll 1d4 to determine how many fish you catch. If you are using a Net to fish, roll 1d8 and use that to determine the quantity of fish you catch. If you are using Fireball, roll 1d20 to determine the amount of fish you catch. Once Fishing in this way, you cannot do so again after a Long Rest, and you may incur some issues with local Rangers/Druids. Please cast with caution.
Reroll on the table for each fish you are meant to catch. Ex: If you are using Bait & Tackle and roll a 3, you will roll on the corresponding Fishing Table 3 times to determine the type of fish you catch each time.
