How to Spend
**Signs of the Times:** When you enter an area that is suffering or recently suffered one of the following within the last year: War, famines, earthquakes, disease, and natural disasters, you learn what happened. You can spend a divinity point to gain a bonus +10 on interaction checks to interact with the local denizens impacted by that incident for the quest.
**Moral Decline:** When you are attacked by a hostile creature if they are one of the following: They have broken a local law (lawlessness), empowered by not of the same faith as you (false prophets, paladin, clerics, warlocks, etc), and a Broken a Tenet of their faith or apathetic to their faith, with Evil alignment. You may spend a divinity point to mark them with Heresy. While they are marked you have advantage on attacks rolls against them and they have disadvantage on attacks against you.
**Kingdom Rise:** Spend a number of divinity points you may declare an area of governance: “Rise of a Kingdom”. The area must be under a single governing body and not a whole empire. If it’s an empire with divisional governments, you can declare just the one area. Yourself or an appointed one that should be the rightful ruler of the land. Those who follow you or your appointee is protected. They gain the benefit of your aura for the next 5 minutes if 1 divine point is spent, 1 hour if 2 divine points spent, 24 hours if 3 divine points spent while within the specified lands. If 7 points are spent the area is declared in open rebellion, the benefit lasts until the reign of your designated or their death or if they leave the area. Outside a quest a DM may allow you to grant this benefit without spending divinity points.
**The Word Preached:** Your religion is the one that spreads across the lands. Even to the annoyance of false prophets. You become immune to all the hostile use of spells and abilities with the word “word”, “Breath”, and alternative uses of the spell or abilities. If there is a threshold you never meet it. This lasts 5 minutes if you spend 1 divine point, 1 hour spending 2 divine points, 24 hours spending 3 divine points. Losing the benefit if you twilight travel.
**Your Return:** When you reach 0 or killed or otherwise removed you may spend a divine point. Effectively saving yourself. Before the start of your next turn you may remove any conditions or effects that prevent you from acting and set your hp to 1 hp and maximum if lower. If you don’t you may choose to do so before the next turn. If you do not choose to rise for 2 rounds in a row on the 3 round you must return and when you do you return with maximum hit points and spell slots as if taken a long rest. Once you return with full hit points you cannot use the ability to return with full until the next dawn.
**Miracle:** As an action you may spend a number of divinity points to replicate the effects of any Cleric spell. The spell can be of any level (including upcast) equal to 2 plus the number of divinity points spent. If 7 is spent in combat initiative you can replicate the effects of wish including spell replication of any spell of 8th level or lower. If DM allows another creature if willing can take on the burden of stress as if wish was casted.
