Many would consider Cooking a relaxing Hobby, and they wouldn't be wrong. There are however those, who push the borders of acceptable Situations to apply their culinary expertise to the Limit. Whether they are whipping up a surprise Menu for homesick Soldiers stuck knee-deep in Mud, supplying a homicidal Lord on the frontlines with a delicacy while dodging projectiles, or simply roasting ground beef over a Volcano, War Chef's know of no other work Ethic except: "get the Dish done!"

When taking this feat, you gain the following Benefits:

 

Ability Score Increase. Increase either your Constitution or Wisdom by 1, to a maximum of 20.

 

Culinary Expert.

 

As an experienced Cook, you are able to abtly analyze Recipes, identify Seasoning by it's Smell and many similar feats. You gain Advantage on Ability Checks related to identifying or preparing different kinds of Food, tasting etc., and do not gain a Disadvantage when doing so in a stressful Situation.

 

 

Culimancy Initiate.

 

Having studied the ancient Halfling Art of Culimancy, you are able to copy Culimantic Recipes you encounter, which have been written in a Language you understand, and gain one Recipe of your Choice when beginning your Journey (which must be of low Complexity). Copying a Recipe requires an hour of Time and Paper and Ink worth an amount of Gold specified in the recipes description. The Recipes description also includes the dishes effects, their duration, the Ingredients and amount of time required to make it, as well as it's Complexity.
You can start learning Recipes of Low Complexity immediately, but you must have a total class level of 5 or higher before you can learn Recipes of Medium Complexity., level 11 for Recipes of Difficult Complexity and level 17 for recipes of Extreme Complexity.
