Versatile Weapon Expert

General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, Strength 13+)

You gain the following benefits.

Ability Score Increase. Increase your Strength score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Versatile Mastery. When you attack with a Versatile weapon with both hands, whose mastery property you can use, you can replace that property with the Cleave or Vex property for that attack.

Shift Stance. When you roll initiative, and at the beginning of your turn, you can go into one of two stances if you are wielding a Versatile weapon, and don't have the Incapacitated condition. The stance ends at the beginning of your next turn, and ends early if you are no longer wielding a Versatile weapon, or have the Incapacitated condition. You choose one of the two stances:

• Defensive. You gain a bonus to your AC against melee attacks equal to half your proficiency bonus, and if you are hit by a melee attack any Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage dealt to you by that attack is reduced by the same amount.
• Offensive. When you make an attack against a creature with a weapon that has the Versatile property, you gain a bonus to the attack and damage rolls equal to half your Proficiency Bonus.
