flames of Y'chak.

You are infused with the lineage of Y'chak, the violet flame, a being of pure madness that is constantly wreathed in powerful psychic flames that sear the body and mind together. You can unleash this energy to enhance spells.

• You gain resistance to fire damage.
• When you cast a spell that deals fire damage you can change the damage type to part psychic, splitting it between half of each, drawing on the eldritch violet flames of Y'chak. In addition when you cast a spell that deals fire and/or psychic damage you can treat all 1's or 2's you roll as 3's.
• As a bonus action or whenever you cast a spell that deals fire or psychic damage you can cause a pillar of violet flames to wreathe you until the end of your next turn. The flames don’t harm you or your possessions. While the flames are present whenever any creature within 5 feet of you targets you with a melee attack it takes fire and psychic damage equal to your proficiency bonus. You can have these flames active for a total number of minutes per day equal to half your proficiency bonus.
