Empower Spellcasting

Prerequisite: Intelligence 13 or Charisma 13 or Wisdom 13

You have learned how to push your magic beyond its normal parameters.

Benefit

When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you may apply one of the following enhancements:

1. Expanded Area

   • If the spell has an area of effect, you may double one dimension of it (radius, length, width, or height).

2. Extended Reach

   • If the spell has a range greater than touch, you may double its range.

3. Heightened Impact

   • Add +1d8 to one damage roll of the spell.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

You can apply only one enhancement per spell, and only if the spell already has the relevant parameter.
