Sharingan (First Tomoe)
Prerequisite: Proficiency in Perception, Dexterity or Wisdom 13+
You awaken an incomplete form of the Sharingan, granting supernatural perception and combat awareness.
Benefits
-
Chakra Sight.
You can see magical energy and spell effects as faint auras. You automatically detect if a creature is under the effect of an illusion or enchantment spell (though not its exact nature). -
Predictive Vision.
When a creature you can see makes a melee or ranged attack against you, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on that attack roll.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. -
Battle Insight.
You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks related to combat awareness, ambush detection, or reading enemy movements. -
Measured Power.
As a bonus action, you may study a creature you can see. The DM tells you whether the creature’s CR is lower than, equal to, or higher than your level.
Nidan Sharingan (Second Tomoe)
Prerequisite: Sharingan (First Tomoe), Proficiency Bonus +3
Your Sharingan matures, sharpening your focus and mental dominance.
Additional Benefits
-
Accelerated Vision.
You gain advantage on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, or frightened. -
Unflankable Focus.
You cannot be flanked, and enemies do not gain advantage from being unseen if you are aware of their presence. -
Hypnotic Gaze.
You may cast charm person at will, without verbal or somatic components, but only against a creature that can see your eyes.
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell. -
Illusion Resistance.
You have advantage on saving throws against illusion spells. On a successful save, you know the source of the illusion.
Sandan Sharingan (Third Tomoe)
Prerequisite: Nidan Sharingan, Proficiency Bonus +4
Your Sharingan reaches full maturity, granting near-perfect foresight and illusion mastery.
Additional Benefits
-
Perfect Prediction.
Once per turn, when a creature misses you with an attack, you may immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. -
Superior Reaction.
You may take one additional reaction per round, usable only for defensive abilities (such as Predictive Vision or opportunity attacks). -
Genjutsu Sharingan.
You may cast hold person or hypnotic pattern once per long rest without components.
Spellcasting ability: Wisdom or Intelligence (your choice). -
Illusion Reversal.
When you succeed on a saving throw against an illusion spell that targets only you, you may use your reaction to force the caster to repeat the same saving throw. On a failure, they are affected instead.
Optional Epic Feat: Mimic Sharingan (DM Approval)
Prerequisite: Sandan Sharingan, Intelligence 15+
Your Sharingan allows limited copying of techniques.
-
When you see a creature cast a spell of 5th level or lower that you could theoretically cast (based on class spell lists), you may copy it.
-
You may cast the copied spell once within the next 7 days.
-
The copied spell costs one spell slot higher than normal.
-
You may only have one copied spell at a time.
This feat is intentionally restricted to avoid breaking class identity.
