Arcane overcast

Your time casting spells has willed your abilities into being stronger. You gain the ability to overcharge and give it more power. Before making a spell attack declare you want to use this feat, then when you cast a spell that has a d6 or higher damage die, upon rolling max on a dice add that and reroll it, add that to the total damage (ie. rolling a 6 means I take six and reroll the dice, rolling a 4 will make it 10.) .

You may do this once per dice.

Afterwards take a 1 level of exhaustion and you cannot cast the same spell on your next turn. If this is used for a cantrip roll a dc 8 + X (X for how many times you use this feat before long resting) constitution saving throw. On a failure take one level of exhaustion, on a pass take no levels of exhaustion.

This feat can apply to one spell or spell attack roll whichever is less per turn. For instance fireball can use this feat but only one beam of scorching ray can have this applied but you can determine which after rolling damage. This does not apply to Eldrich blast as it can apply to all attacks and not the single beam.

This feat may also be used for  healing spells aswell. When calculating total healing done you may double the total healing done. After, make a dc 18 + X (X being the amount of times you’ve used this feat before a long rest) constitution saving throw. On fail gain one level of exhaustion, on success nothing happens.

using this feat with spare the dying on someone who is dying has special effects. Firstly, you must exchange 1d4 of your health, if you roll a 4, reroll, add it to the total, this effect happens until either you reach 1 hp (cannot go below 1), or you roll another number besides 4. Secondly, upon doing so you may roll a d20, on a 19 or a 20 remove 1 level of exhaustion, this may happen only once per day.
