Curse Twister’S Hex Image
Prerequisite: Must be level 4 or higher

You have learned to subtly bend fate against your foes. You gain the following benefits:

  • Hexed Misfortune
When you hit a creature with an attack or force it to make a saving throw against one of your abilities, you can impose Misfortune on it until the start of your next turn.
A creature suffering Misfortune has the following penalty:
Once before the effect ends, when the creature makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, it must roll a d4 and subtract the number from the result.
This is not disadvantage — it’s a single, controlled twist of fate.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses on a long rest.
  • Fate‑Bent Focus
When a creature under your Misfortune effect fails a roll by 4 or less, you can choose to expend Fate-Bent Focus charge. If you do, the penalty becomes –6 instead of the d4 roll. You have a number of Fate-Bent Focus charges equal to your proficiency Bonus.
  • Subtle Hexcraft
You gain proficiency in Arcana and Insight.
