Color Of Mentus - Merlot Bestowal Image

One who develops this color is sure to have a blood-soaked history, one that lacks control and reason. Your will has granted your desires, you can now manipulate and control the blood of any creature when obtained. When this color begins to burst from your very soul you gain the following abilities:

  • Merlot Boons: When putting an enemy at 10 hp or below using a melee or ranged weapon, you gain 1 Red Boon, this red boon is represented by the curdling of blood into a small red pellet imbedded on the back of your hand. You may have up to 3 Red Boons. This number increases to 5 at level 10, and 7 at level 13. When landing a 19 or 20 to attack, you gain 2 Red Boons instead of 1. Once a Red Boon leaves your possession it dissolves and turns into black mist, destroying it.
  • My Form Empties: After defeating an enemy, you may gain 3d4 Temporary hit points. Mortally wounding and defeating an enemy put them at their weakest spiritual state, causing your control of blood to overpower and siphon the life force within the blood, drawing it to you. You may also use a Red Boon to Gain 3d4 temporary Hit Points for yourself or on others. Doing so with a Red Boon uses a bonus action. The amount of hit points gained increases to 5d4 at level 10, and 7d4 at level 13.
  • Bestowal - Muscles: As a free action, you can coat a weapon or ammunition in your possession in one of your Red Boons. You weave curdled blood into elegant fibers that coat your weapons.
