Warm laughter echoes in your breath, and the dragon’s joy bends the battlefield without cruelty.
• Jesting Vapors (Action). You exhale shimmering, acidic mist in a 5-foot wide, 100-foot Line. Each hostile creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution). On a failed save, a creature takes 8d8 acid damage and has its speed reduced by half until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier.
• Kupari Scales. You gain resistance to Acid Damage. Additionally, when a hostile creature’s speed is reduced by you, Allied creatures of your choice within 10 feet of it can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. If an allied creature uses this movement, it gains advantage on the next Dexterity saving throw it makes before the end of its next turn.
