Your breath carries the color of dying suns, and living things wither in your presence.
• Entropic Drain (Action). You unleash a surge of yellow-tinged necrotic energy at one creature you can see within 60 feet. The target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution). On a failed save, the creature takes 8d8 necrotic damage. If the creature is a plant or has the Regeneration trait, it instead takes 10d8 necrotic damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage.
You can use this ability an amount of times equal to your constitution modifier.
• Topaze Scales. You gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, when a creature takes necrotic damage from you, its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus until the end of its next long rest. If a creature’s hit point maximum is reduced to 0 by this effect, it dies instantly. A creature can’t be affected by this reduction more than once per turn.
