Downcast

After taking this feat, you may cast any spell from your spell list at a lower level than their default spell level, down to level 1. A spell casted in this manner has the following lessened effects:

• The spell's damage roll has one less die per level reduced, this amount cannot be reduced lower than 1 die.
• The spell's range is reduced by 5 feet per level reduced, this amount cannot be reduced lower than touch.
• The spell's radius is reduced by 5 feet per level reduced, this amount cannot be reduced lower than 5 feet.
• The spell's duration is reduced by 6 seconds or by 1 round per level reduced, this amount cannot be reduced lower than 6 seconds or 1 round.
• The spell's casting time, if it has one, is reduced by 6 seconds per level reduced, this amount cannot be reduced lowered than 6 seconds.
