You commit to lethality over caution when fighting at close range.

Before you make a dagger attack, you may choose to take a –3 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, the attack deals an additional 6 damage.

If the attack also deals Sneak Attack damage, you may add one additional Sneak Attack die to the damage.

This decision must be made before the attack roll.
