You may add a bonus to your AC equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded up) when wielding a weapon with the Two-Handed property that you are proficient with.

Posted Jul 26, 2026It's an interesting feat but here are my two-cents:
Flat AC increase is VERY strong and this is a half-feat (since you allow an ability score increase). To keep with the theme, I'd say you need to use a Reaction to increase your AC to this check (which basically let you drastically increase your AC once per turn). Also, maybe allow for Strength OR Dex increase (and prerequisite then)? (especially since you have the tag)
The name is a bit corny and honestly reminds me of the saying "The best defense is offense". If you are intending to use this idea, then give AC to Strength character that have poor Dex by replacing the Dex modifier with the Strength modifier to avoid characters using both Strength and Dexterity to cheese with this feat. It would then allow for a Medium or Light Armored Strength build which would be super cook and would be a must-take for two-handed barbarians
