A curse of strong eldritch lycanthropy runs through your blood, granting you a strange relationship with life and death.
Death Sense: Acting in accordance with natural instincts, being close to death causes the lycanthropy to show or, in extreme situations, take over. When in combat, taking damage that puts you below 25% of your maximum HP invokes a visceral reaction from your curse, as it takes hold of your consciousness in an act of self-preservation. When the curse takes over, the beast acts as a cornered animal, attacking the closest creature or the biggest threat. You may regain control in one of the following conditions:
- If you are healed by 10 or more by a single source as a wolf
- Consuming the life force of a creature when at or above 25% health
- Reaching 50% or more health
Consume Life: Death is comforting, and you benefit from the misfortune of others.
- Human Form: When a sentient creature dies within 30ft of you, regain 1d4 health
- Beast Form: When you consume the life force of a creature directly, you regain 1d4 health, or 1 health if the creature lacks sentience (i.e., squirrels, rats, etc)
