You learned this by watching a monster named Strahd von Zarovich masterfully avoid taking damage by creating similar illusions of himself. Inspired you reverse engineered his trick to the best of your ability.
Ability Score Increase
Increase your Charisma score by 2, to a maximum of 25.
Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 25.
Shattered Position (Reaction)
When an attack hits you, you may use your reaction to fracture your presence.
- You create three illusory duplicates of yourself in unoccupied spaces you can see within 60 feet
- The duplicates appear identical to you and mimic your posture and casting motions
The duplicates last for 1 minute, until destroyed, or until you are incapacitated.
You may use this feature once per Short or Long Rest.
Illusory Duplicates
Each duplicate has the following properties:
- Hit Points: Equal to one-quarter of your maximum hit points
- Armor Class: Equal to your spell save DC
- Saving Throws: Automatically fail Strength and Dexterity saving throws
- Damage Immunities: Poison and Psychic
- Condition Immunities: Charmed, Frightened, Grappled, Prone, Restrained
When a duplicate is reduced to 0 hit points, it dissipates harmlessly.
Echo Casting
Each duplicate acts on your initiative, immediately after your turn.
On its turn, a duplicate may:
- Cast one cantrip you know, using your spell attack bonus and spell save DC
Each duplicate knows two cantrips, chosen when you finish a Long Rest.
Restrictions:
- A duplicate cannot cast leveled spells
- A duplicate cannot concentrate on spells
- A duplicate cannot take reactions
- A duplicate does not grant cover
Uncertain Reality
While at least one duplicate remains:
- Attacks against you have disadvantage
- When a creature misses you with an attack, you may move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks (no action required)
