Prerequisite: Requires an Intelligence score of 13 or higher
Whether by family wealth, academic patronage, or some other means, you were able to attend one of the great centers of learning in the world. Studying the most reliable sources of historical, medical, and theological information has provided you with an impressive breadth of knowledge in these fields. Additionally, you were required to achieve fluency in a new language before you graduated. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency in History, Medicine and Religion, and fluency in one language of your choice.
- Choose two of the three skills above. You gain expertise with those skills, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with them. The skills you choose must not already be benefiting from a feature, such as Expertise, that doubles your proficiency bonus.
- You have 1d4 plus your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 total) former classmates who can serve as contacts or information resources, determined by your DM.
