You and your crew have extensively planned for every contingency.
At the start of a heist, you gain a number of Flashback points equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1).
Immediately after you or a friendly creature you can see within 30 feet of you fail an ability check, you can spend 1 Flashback point to describe a brief flashback of a past preparation. You may spend available resources (such as gold or a spell slot) to increase the chance of the flashback's success. The DM calls for a new ability check based on your flashback. On a success, the original failed ability check becomes a success instead. On a failure, the original result stands, and any resources spent during the flashback are lost.
Once you use this feat, you cannot use it again until the current flashback scene is fully resolved. This feat cannot be used to contradict established lore or events that have already occurred in the campaign. Any unspent Flashback points are lost after the conclusion of the heist.
