Description:
Nike has acknowledged your devotion and granted you a major blessing.
Stage 1:
Celestial Form
- You become a Celestial in addition to any other creature type(s) you are.
- Additionally, you have Resistance to Radiant Damage.
Angelic Wings
(3/short rest | Bonus Action | Duration: 1 hour)
You may call upon your divine nature to manifest a set of feathered wings.
- While they are manifested, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed when you are not wearing heavy armor.
Planar Binding
Your body and soul are bound to the higher planes of good.
- You have Disadvantage on Death Saving Throws as the plane attempts to pull your soul into its place of final reward.
Stage 2:
Divine Clemency
(3/long rest)
- When an ally within 30 feet of you that you can see takes damage, you can use a Reaction to cast Healing Word at first level on that ally without using a spell slot.
Blinding Radiance
(DC: 16)
Your Transformation into a Seraph brings with it changes to your physical features. Your body radiates a divine glow, your eyes may become hollow braziers of celestial light, or your many sets of wings may appear unsettling to mortal creatures.
You can suspend this form and manifest the appearance of the humanoid you once were, but this is taxing and requires effort. This form is not permanent, and moments of stress or wrath are likely to reveal your true nature.
This might occur under the following circumstances:
- Becoming Bloodied
- Having the Unconscious condition
- Witnessing an act of evil
- Encountering Fiendish creatures or powers
- Using your Seraph Transformation powers for the first time after a Short or Long Rest
In these events, or times of other extreme emotional or physical stress, a GM can call or a Constitution saving throw with a DC based on your current Transformation Stage.
If you fail this save, your Blinding Radiance is revealed.
Radiance Revealed
(DC: 15 | Duration: 1 minute for both)
- When your true nature is revealed this way, all non-enemy creatures within 30 feet of you who can see you must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or have the Blinded condition.
- Additionally, attacks against you have Advantage.
Stage 3:
Cleanse Affliction
(Prerequisite: Divine Clemency)
When you use Divine Clemency on a creature, they gain the following additional benefits:
- They gain Temporary Hit Points equal to the amount of damage healed by Healing Word.
- They have Advantage on their next D 20 Test made within the next minute.
