2nd-level Divination (Martial / Shadow)
You study an enemy’s movement, armor gaps, and instinctive defenses, pinpointing where they are most vulnerable.
Cost: Bonus Action | Range: 60ft | Duration: 1minute | Uses: 2 times per short or long rest
Effect
Choose one creature you can see within range and make a Wisdom (Perception) check against a DC set by the DM based on the creature’s anatomy and awareness.
On a Success
You identify a weak point in the target’s defenses.
-
Your attacks against the target deal +1d6 bonus damage
-
This damage applies once per turn, not per hit
-
The damage type matches the weapon’s damage
Sharing the Weak Point (Optional)
As a free action on your turn, you may call out the weak point to allies.
If you do:
-
Allies gain +1d6 bonus damage once per turn when they hit the target (only if declaring targeting the weak spot)
-
However, the target becomes aware of the exposed weakness and adjusts
Defensive Adjustment
Once the information is shared:
-
The target gains AC against all creatures except you (increased only if calling the weak spot)
-
This AC bonus represents guarding the exposed point
🔥 The AC increase does not apply to you, as you understand how to exploit the opening despite the defense.
