Ariella's Might (Merfolk-only Feat)

You are granted divine strength by the sea goddess, Ariella. You gain the following benefits.

Ability Score Increase. Increase your Strength score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Movement. Your swim speed increases by 10 feet.

Tide-Born Grappler. You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks you make to grapple or shove a creature, and on checks you make to resist being shoved or forcibly moved by a creature up to one size larger than you.

Ocean’s Hold. While you and a creature you have grappled are both in water, that creature has disadvantage on the first saving throw it makes to escape your grapple, and your speed isn’t reduced when you move a creature you are grappling. Additionally, while a creature is grappled by you in water, the first attack roll made against that creature on each turn has advantage.
